| Look for GEL in your area or on the net. Roscoe, Lee and GAM are three major manufacturers. WARNING: Keep the color thin. Don't use heavy dark color. It makes the color look weird on Video or even worse on film. Use a light color and use a clear light further away to make sure you aren't saturating the color. As far as smoke is concerned there are a couple of different ways to go IF you are working inside. Dry Ice Fog Is the simplest and easiest. Just throw some dry ice in water and blow it around with a fan. The water needs to be very hot. If you put a heating coil from a water heater into a big drum of water you can produce a high enough temperature to produce a lot of fog but unless you have real experience with electricity find someone who does or your likely to electrocute yourself. The only problem with dry ice fog is that it is really thick, dissipates quickly and tends to cling to the floor. For a better effect if you are really after a total fog is to use a fogger or hazer. This is a piece of equipment which can be rented from any theatrical lighting purveyor. It heats a special fluid which is safe for actors to breathe and produces a fog bank that is determined by how long you leave it running. If you are working outside, you are going to need a large professional piece of equipment called a "Pea-souper" which is going to set you back considerably in terms of your budget. |

| I hope not because I'm doing the same thing, only making Silent Hill 2 into a musical :3 I don't think they can as long as it is considered a fan work (you don't see people getting slammed for fanfics or fan art.) If you claim the series as your own, then yeah, you probably will or if you try to get money from it. I would think that you would be okay as long as you have a disclaimer somewhere that Silent Hill belongs to Konami, blah blah blah, legal, blah blah. | Photobucket is a great web based and FREE editing tools. The software behind it comes from Adobe who make some of the best commercial ($$$) photo and video editors. Also check out Jaycut which allows you to export and save your videos! If you need/want more features downloading VideoSpin, VideoPad or VideoThang are great options.
